My Favorite Animal

My favorite animal is the dog, but not a breed dog, I love the stray dog, because they are so different, they are unique.

They are more loyal, their attitude are modest, lovely, they can understand you and you can understand them. It’s like they never are tired of say you “thanks”, they have a deep love to you. They are like the human supposed to be. When you have a dog from the street you learn to much about the life, about you, you can found yourself with them.

In my life I had have too much stray dogs, and it’s easy to maintain, because the probabilities to get sick are minus than a breed dog. Well they eat like a normal dog, 3 cup for day, but these 3 cup are divided in 3 times in the day. Their place should be a big place because they need to run, play, and is necessary to take a walk sometimes or everyday.

CHILE- EDUCATION

We could talk about numbers with Chile's government, but they didn't feel, they didn't see, they just didn't live in that situation.

I never studied in a public school, but some friends come from it. How they describe it is hard to listen because I know the other money's face. I studied in a private school, and we have too much things, since material things until too much opportunities for the future, and just because the people can't pay it they have to study in public school.

But the problem is that the public school and private school don’t have to be different, because 1. They deal with persons and 2. That generate segregation, and exactly no one have to pay for have opportunities for live, so is better if the education is free.

I know that this start with the Augusto Pinochet’ government, but in that time that decision just was for generate money for the estate because with the anterior government we get a big economic crisis but the times changed, the estate got money, we was a developed country. But now the country are losing that opportunity, because we're going to a economy crisis again.

In the past 4 years I didn’t see change, I didn’t see the basic changes and anybody can see it because the mobilization continue.  

 

 

My past and future

Well, when I was young (7 years old), I used to say that I would like to be a vet, but with the years that change. I knew more careers, in one time I wanted to be a lawyer, then I wanted to be an engineer, then I wanted to be part of the military, in another time i wanted to study medicine, architecture, odontology, biochemistry, and a lot of things...so my life went to the point that I didn’t know what I really wanted to study.

I did the PSU, with the objective to get the maximum point in case that I would like to study something with a “high score”. But when I got the results I didn’t know what I really want to study.

So why I am here studying veterinarian medicine? In all the years I don’t stop to love the animals, and think about whatever thing about them. So in the postulation I put this career first and then geology and enginery and a lot of others. And now I am so happy to be here, I like the university’s environment, the career, so I hope had chosen the best career for me and to be in the future a great vet, now I don’t know what kind of job I would like to work, but with the time I will know.

This is an amazing video that I recommend to watch. It's about the stone fish, how He use the apparence of his skin for camouflage into the sea stones. He disguise for live, He use it for eat and for don’t be aten. We can see in this video how the fish swim without care because He didn’t see the stone fish, and then the stone fish eat the fish, and the form of his mouth is for attack in that case. He survive with that.

Here we can see that the orchid mantis is an animal who don’t change it color. That mantis live there for survive too, she use her similar with the flower called orchid for don’t be seen, and be safe, and to eat. It is so nice how the insects can’t see her and she use it for attack them like the fly pn the video.

Well here I will change the topic to the behavior of an animal; bear. Well at the first video we can see the wild behavior of a bear, how he attack a man. But at the second He only wants to play with that man, he is like a kid, like a puppy-dog. Why that change of him behavior? I think that all is in how is our behavior with them, the bears are usually hunt by the human, so they are usually at the defensive. But when we demonstrate; calm, love, be passive, they feels thats, so they answer whit the same behavior.

My Favourite Gadget(?)

I really don’t know what could be my favourite gadget… May be my cellphone?? Or my computer?? no no definitely the play station.. but no that’s not. I could say that “I use everything”, but I am not a completely dependent of thems , but ....

now I am more dependent of my cellphone. Ok, I can live without it but not for a long time, I need it for communicate with my friends, family and people that I could know in the future. That is the function of it, and now that all my friends are so far away, the cellphone is the unique thing that I use for to keep talking.

I got my cellphone three year ago, I use it everyday and everytime… I like it but there are sometimes that I stop to use it, I want a rest, because the cellphone is where the people can found you, and sometime we just want a rest of the people who are around us.

Is easy to stop it, but you can not stay to much time without it, why? Because the world change and the cellphone is the unique thing for be a part of it. Years ago the people was not dependent because they used other thing for communicate, the cellphone was not all. I like that time because the cellphone just was for “communication”, a life was really a life. Now is for a lot of things and the new generations don’t live the life, their life is in the cellphones.

1996 Camelia González born in Calama, Chile.

1998 In november born her brother Nicolás, in Calama too.

2000 She lived in Copiapó, Chile, but just for 2 moths. Then she went to live to Antofagasta, to start  the school.

2004 When she was 7 years old she went to live to Copiapó again, she studied in Scuola Italiana Di Copiapó. She live there about 6 years, but when the high school began, she went to live to Antofagasta again.

2007 In Copiapó, she form part of  association called UPROA (Unidos Por La Proteccion Animal) and she take care of a lot of animals

2008 She adopted a stray dog, She called Locky.

2010 She form a part of the CEAL (Centro de Alumnos) of her School.

2011 She began the high school in Antofagasta British School.

2012 In Summer vacation, she and her family travelled to the south of chile.


 

Finlandia

2013 In 2012' Christmast, their father gave her dream in a present, a trip to Finlandia for one months with her brother. They went to finland in january- february of  2013.

Brazil

2014 3 of january, she and her class had their "GIRA", They went to Brazil for one week.
             
16 of December, she end the school.












2015 She went to live to Santiago to study Veterinary Medicine, in Universidad de Chile.

My OPINIONS

What is your opinion about recycling?

I think that recycling is completely necessary for the world, in all our life the unique thing that we do is generate litter producing bad consequences for the future, it’s time to stop this and begin to use our brains.

What is your opinion about fortune telling?

In general I actually don’t believe in that, maybe its right just exactly in the time that you see your fotune, but I think that your next actions change that, so the “fortune telling” doesn’t work.

What is your opinion about the Chilean politicians?

I think that they are fake persons, the most of them just work in this for money. In the beggining of the time to be a politician was a hobby, a passion, that wasn’t a job, they did not  get money, it was a feeling for build a better country.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?

Legazing the marijuana could be so great and so bad, it is great in the medical area because too many people would be favored. But bad because to be so exposed to the bad people, bad things could happen.

What is your opinion about cellular phones?

The cellular phones are not a bad thing. We actually see that the children don’t play more like a kid ten years ago, they have virtual games. But the problem is not in the technology, is in the human who becomes dependent. We just need to control ourselves, that’s all.

My Dream: Rovaniemi, Lapland (Finland) !

Well the place that I want to go in specific is Rovaniemi, this is located in the North of Finland, Lapland. Why is my dream? Because this place is magic, this is the Santa Claus’ hometown and in winter you can see the aurora borealis.

SANTA CLAUS' HOMETOWN

Two years ago, I travelled to the south of Finland; Joensuu (in summer here (Chile), winter there) And it was really awesome, there was two meter of snow  (one time I felt and I couldn’t stand up, and my friends had to help me), everyday I used the “sauna”. The food is really nice, the Finland people eaten potatoes everyday. And almost all the people live so far away to each other, they live in farms, out of the small cities.

But now I want to know the North because is so different of the south, I want to take photos to the aurora borealis and the animals like elk, reindeers and all the kinds of dog. To be with -40 Celsius degrades, feel that cold. See the Christmas’ big red men, and the people who lives there.

Maybe in the future I will live in Finland, South or North(?), I don’t know but the time will decide.

Who is She? (Me)

Camelia Isabel Andrea González Olivares was born 25 july of 1996 in Calama. At elementary school, she studied at Scuola Italiana di Copiapo in Copiapo, and when she was 14 years old, she completed her high school at The Antofagasta British School in Antofagasta, since 2011 until 2014.

At 2015 she relocated to Santiago for study in “Universidad de Chile” to make her dreams true, she wanted to be a Vet. She used to live in small city, and live in Santiago was really complicated for her, but the love for the animals, it was her force for make it.

Camelia’s family is formed by her parents, Tomás González and Adis Olivares. Her two brothers, Nicolás González (the little brother) and Sebastian Gonzalez (the big brother). And she has a lapdog called Locky.

Camelia (or Cemilla how her friends called) is a great singer and she usually plays soccer. In her free time she goes out with her friend for do anything, they usually go to parties or watch movies and eat all the food of the world.
